Mary and Noel have long been beloved figures in Irish folk and traditional music. Mary, a gifted songwriter and vocalist, is known for her work as a member of duo Noel Shine & Mary Greene and the acclaimed family trio Greenshine. Her songs – which have topped the iTunes Singer-Songwriter charts and received extensive airplay on RTÉ Radio 1 – are known for their emotional depth, lyrical strength, and subtle magic. She has performed alongside Ireland’s most respected artists and curated celebrated showcases such as the Gals at Play concert at Cork Folk Festival.
Noel Shine, a multi-instrumentalist and masterful guitarist, brings a deep well of traditional and folk influences to the stage. Raised in West Clare in a musical family, his playing has taken him from Cork’s legendary folk scene to stages across Europe and the US. With a background in bands such as The Steam Packet Company and collaborations with artists like John Spillane, Noel’s style blends Irish tradition with Americana in a way that’s both fresh and rooted.
Together, Mary and Noel have released two critically acclaimed albums, with Mary’s solo album Sea of Hearts further showcasing their shared artistry and homegrown creativity. Their live performances are warm, witty, and full of beautifully crafted songs and stories.

Sea Church Express Shuttle
The Sea Church Express is your easy, return shuttle service to Ballycotton – perfect for a night out without the hassle of driving. Departing from Cobh (P24 DW63) and passing through Midleton (P25 RX85), the shuttle gets you to Ballycotton 90 minutes before showtime. That gives you time to grab a bite to eat or enjoy a drink in the Fish Bowl before the event begins.
After the show, the bus departs 30 minutes later – giving you time to enjoy an encore or one more drink before heading back to your original pick-up point.
