Sea Church Restaurant, Ballycotton, Cork, Ireland
Sea Church is a casual dining restaurant and event space, situated just outside the seaside village of Ballycotton in beautiful East Cork.
Boasting a dramatic coastal location, Sea Church plays host to Ireland’s musical heavyweights as well as emerging artists in its magical, restored church while inviting patrons to meet, eat, drink and relax in its ocean-inspired renovated schoolhouse.
With breath-taking surroundings and a wealth of rugged scenery at its doorstep, Sea Church is available for private hire, ceremonies, special events, exhibitions and functions.
A modern Irish restaurant, food is locally sourced as much as possible, be it land or sea, before being expertly cooked.
Situated beside the beautifully renovated St Colman’s Church of Ireland, the space maintains the schoolhouse’s architectural structure while inviting the contemporary styling of a modern restaurant.
Had a lovely family meal here recently….food was absolutely delicious and the staff were amazing. 💕
We’ll be back! 🙏
We booked the restaurant for a family celebration. We were very impressed by the friendly and efficient staff, the wonderful atmosphere and the exceptional food. There was great choice on the menu and something to accommodate everyone. We will definitely be returning and recommending to friends and family.
Beautiful restaurant with amazing food and a very warm and welcoming environment. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. I hope to return here soon for live music and more great food!
Really good, warm service from the staff. Not too many veggie options here but the pizza and falafel burger were absolutely delicious so we’ll be back for them again. Restaurant tastefully connects to an old renovated church used for events so can’t wait to see a first gig there. Great spot altogether.
Great location, view, service and food plus excellent acoustics for concerts.
Came here for dinner and will be calling in again. Some of the best fish I had served in the last few years and nice to see a local microbrewery on tap too.
Stunning venue. The staff where excellent and couldn’t do enough for you.
The food is 10/10 and would highly recommend.
A absolutely beautiful spot for a relaxing bite to eat or a casual pint. A very impressive set up, lovely food, great staff in a lovely part of the world. Can’t wait to get back to see a gig in the church.
I can only suggest to any persons passing, pop in and take an hour to indulge in great food, a nice drink and relax in a most beautiful spot. Till the next time. Thank you for a wonderful experience .
A stunning church converted to a restaurant right by the sea. We sat outdoors as the weather was good. The food was amazing and the service was good. Its a very popular place so it was very busy at lunch time when we were there. Be sure to book in advance as not to be disappointed. I really enjoyed the charcuterie board we got as a starter. I had the meat pizza for main course and the eaten mess as dessert! All food was very tasty 🙂👏
Had a great birthday meal here last night. The place is beautiful, the staff, although all very young, were so lovely and polite and efficient and the service was faultless. The food was delicious, I had Scampi for starters and baked salmon for mains, both were fabulous. The fish and chips with tartar sauce was amazing, portion was huge! The two steaks were a little bit on the tough side and slightly overcooked but were nevertheless very tasty. Would highly recommend this place and will definitely go back soon!
