Andrew Fletcher

Own bio – My name is Andrew Fletcher I’m a Young singer/songwriter from Whitegate,in East Cork,I started playing music during lockdown and haven’t stopped since! I’ve been extremely lucky to play with major artists and hero’s,such as Glen Hansard/The frames,Mundy on a few occasions George Murphy and the rising sons and Sharon Shannon to keep it brief!
I take Music influences from the likes of, The Pogues/Shane Macgowan,who I am very lucky to have got to visit last year and sing some songs to him, Other influences include Glen Hansard/The Frames,Damien Dempsey,Mic Christopher and Mundy .

I started writing songs last year and got to debut my song “This place” on the Neil prendavile show. I since Released This place on Spotify,ITunes ect..it has just passed 20,000 streams on Spotify.I also released a cover of “skylarking” by one of my hero’s Mic Christopher which has almost 15,000 streams also!

VOXmouse

A wee mouse with a big voice, VOXmouse is a singer-songwriter and oxymoron from Cork. Weaving haunting vocals through bewitching piano and jaunty guitar backdrops, VOXmouse tackles societal themes such as war, escapism, and two men’s rights with a dream-folk sound, simultaneously echoing the rebellious Sinéad O’Connor, the power of The Cranberries, the gentling Glen Hansard and thoughtful craic of The Dubliners. Having recorded part of her EP Feathers last year with the legendary Metropolis Studios in Dublin with a release date in August, 2024 is set to be a monumental year for VOXmouse. 

Imbas

Formed in 2021, Imbas is a collective of musicians brought together by their shared passion for storytelling through song and their reverence for diverse musical traditions from around the globe. lending the soulful melodies of indie folk with the rich tapestry of world music Imbas weaves together intricate layers of acoustic instrumentation into a timeless arrangement.

The guitar played by Eoghan O’ Keeffe serves as the rhythmic backbone of the bands live performance, embracing a myriad of playing techniques and tunings, the world music guitar style embodies the spirit of exploration and adaptation. From the percussive rhythms of flamenco to the intricate fingerpicking of Bossa Nova, the guitar effortlessly adapts to the Bass and percussion. Complemented perfectly by the virtuosity of Claire Supervie on Flute, which punters have descibed as captivating and spellbinding.
Eoghan’s commanding vocals carries the listener on a journey through a mixture of indie folk and world music, drawing lyrical inspiration from nature, mythology, and the human experience.
Since their inception, Imbas has captivated audiences with their mesmerizing live performances, whether performing in intimate cafe’s or on festival stages, the band’s heartfelt lyrics and infectious rhythms leave a lasting impression on all who hear them.
