Pilgrim St return in Spring 2026 with renewed fire and a sound sharper than ever. Hailing from County Meath and forged in the heart of Navan’s vibrant folk scene, this seven-piece powerhouse has earned its place as one of Ireland’s most revered live bands. Known for their high-energy performances and authentic sound, Pilgrim St are ready to reclaim stages across the country with a tour that promises to be nothing short of electrifying.
Deeply rooted in Appalachian bluegrass and old-time country, Pilgrim St seamlessly blend Irish folk traditions and global influences into a unique sonic tapestry. Their music draws inspiration from legends like Hank Williams, Woody Guthrie, and Bruce Springsteen’s Seeger Sessions, as well as Irish icons such as The Pogues and The Saw Doctors. The result is a rich, heartfelt, and infectious sound that has captivated audiences nationwide.
With a live reputation that precedes them, Pilgrim St have graced stages from Vicar Street to Electric Picnic, leaving behind rooms filled with joy, dancing feet, and the unmistakable buzz of something special. Their return marks a new chapter following the critical acclaim of their debut album Ash Into Gold Dust and their 2024 release Folk Bones, both celebrated for their blend of original songwriting and spirited interpretations.
This tour will feature the band’s beloved tracks alongside fresh material, crafted during their creative recharge. Whether you’re a longtime fan or a newcomer, Pilgrim St’s live performance is an experience that transforms casual listeners into devoted followers.
The band features Peadar Farrelly on guitar and vocals, Eugene Donegan on banjo and vocals, Eoin McDonnell on mandolin and vocals, Francis McGinn on bass, Mark Lynch on dobro, Brendan Kelly on accordion and vocals, and Cathal McQuaid on fiddle.
