Based in NW Donegal and assembled by former Pirates / Chicken Shack / Eric Bell (Thin Lizzy) drummer Romek Parol have, between them, as described by one radio presenter, a wealth of experience, having played, appeared, and recorded with the likes of Eric Clapton / ZZ Top / Bonnie Tyler / Sharron Shannon / Ray Charles / Mary Black / Quarterdeck – the list is endless.
Along with Romek Parol the lineup has some familiar names … Dave “Munch” Moore – keyboards … Billy Robinson – Bass … Mick McCarney – guitars and b/v’s and complementing the ensemble is Paul Cox with his inimitable soulful vocals.
They released the highly acclaimed album “Saints and Sinners” at the start of 2026 and shortly after, in June ‘26, came “Isn’t That So” with “If You Need Somebody”lifted as a single. The album has had a great response from radio presenters and music publications with some great reviews and hit the IBBA charts at the beginning of August. Both albums are available on Spotify / Apple etc as well as physical copies and there is also a F/B Page with videos, photos and a general “Fortunate Family” vibe.
