Ndidi Onukwulu, known as Ndidi O, is a two-time Juno-nominated and award-winning singer-songwriter whose powerful blend of folk, blues and roots music has earned acclaim in her native Canada and internationally.
Renowned for her powerful voice and deeply personal songwriting, Ndidi delivers a compelling live performance.
Her songs have featured in numerous television productions and commercial campaigns, including True Blood on HBO and Orange Is the New Black on Netflix.
Having recently made Ireland her home, Ndidi recorded her latest album, It’s About Time, at Christian Best’s Monique Studios in Cork alongside members of Mick Flannery’s band.
The record received warm critical acclaim, being described as “a gorgeous dance of tradition and modernity”. It also marked her transition onto the Irish live circuit, following recent appearances at the Anam Festival and All Together Now.
