Cork City based singer songwriter Hank Wedel teams up with well known Irish record producer and guitarist Declan Sinnott for a special Autumnal Concert at The Sea Church, Ballycotton on October 27th.
Hank and Declan have worked with each other on stage and in the studio for decades and in recent times they’ve released four well received singles.
The video for Hank’s 2022 release “(We Are) The Rakes of Mallow” Produced by Declan Sinnott released in 2022, has received tens of thousands of views online and garnered awards for production from global film festivals

Hank Wedel (An Open Kitchen on Princes Street) and Declan Sinnott (Moving Hearts, Mary Black, Christy Moore) have known each other and have made music and song together since the mid 1980’s…
In the ‘90’s and early 2000’s, More than a few Cork City gigs saw Declan adding his rockin’ electric guitar with various line-ups of Hank’s “Open Kitchen”
Declan has also joined in many of the famous Monday Night at Charlie’s Bar in Cork City where Hank and mandolinist Ray Barron have held a residency since 1994…
Their mutual love and admiration for hippie bands like The Beatles, The Band, The Grateful Dead, The Incredible String Band and a wide knowledge of Classic Americana brought them together for a well received acoustic and vocal live act in Ireland from 2008-11 called “Small Town Talk”.
All of the above, and probably more, will be displayed at Sea Church Ballycotton Special guest on the night will be East Cork’s own Eoin Jordan.
